Mary Peachin

Mary L. Peachin is a freelance adventure/outdoor travel writer/photographer. She has published and edited www.peachin.com since its founding in October 1996. She is author of The Complete Idiots Guide to Sharks (Alpha/Penguin) and Scuba Caribbean (University Florida Press, late 2008). Her photography is represented worldwide by Lonely Planet Images. Mary is a contributing author for Barron's World Travel Atlas.

Her professional affiliations include the Society of American Travel Writers, Travel Media Association of Canada, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, American Society of Media Photographers, and Outdoor Writers of America.
